Mountaindale Boxers

About Us

       We are Abby and Casey Balza (formally Abby Brockway) and are located in North Plains, Oregon (about 45 minutes from Portland).  We were married December 14th, 2009.  Our boxers are our family members and live inside the house with us.  We believe in health testing our dogs before breeding and strive for great health, temperament, and conformation in our dogs and in our breeding program.

      Mountaindale Boxers was founded in 2005 with the purchase of our first boxer, Ch. Butler’s Iron Mike “Duke”, from Butler Boxers, who became an American champion on 7/22/07, owner-handled.  Duke, to us, is a true boxer with a great personality and temperament.  He got us hooked and is the reason that we fell in love with this amazing breed.

In 2006 we welcomed another boxer into our household, Butler’s What’s the Fuss “Riley”.  Riley comes from a great pedigree of producers and we have high hopes of her in the whelping box to become the foundation for Mountaindale Boxers.   

We had our first litter in 2009, in which we kept  stunning flashy brindle boy named Mountaindale's Foolish Pleasure "Diesel", who is currently searching for his last 2 majors at 12 months old. 

 Three other puppies went to show homes: a beautiful plain brindle girl named Mountaindale's Fool Hearted "Kylie" went to live with Hammatt Boxers in Louisiana, a pretty flashy brindle girl named Butler's Black Betty "Betty" went to live with Debby Mongeau in Idaho, and a handsome flashy brinde male named Mountaindale's Fool For You "Kale" went to live with Brent and Tammy Bischak in Pennsylvania.
